Handcrafted by The Wild Carrot Farmstead

Bright, sunny, and deeply traditional — our Goldenrod Oxymel is a farm-grown wellness tonic made using goldenrod harvested right here on our Missouri homestead, slow-infused into raw honey and apple cider vinegar. This sweet-tart preparation has been used for generations to support the lymphatic system, urinary tract health, and seasonal wellness.

These small-batch bottles capture the warmth of late-summer meadows and the old-world practice of using herbs, honey, and vinegar together as a daily restorative.

✨ What Is an Oxymel?

An oxymel is one of the oldest herbal preparations in history — combining honey (“oxy”) and vinegar (“mel”) to extract plant constituents, preserve the herbs, and create a delicious tonic that is gentle on the stomach.

Our version uses only three ingredients:

  • Farm-grown goldenrod
  • Raw honey
  • Raw apple cider vinegar

That’s it. Just clean, vibrant, nourishing simplicity.

🌿 Benefits of Goldenrod

Traditionally, goldenrod is known for its ability to support:

  • Lymphatic movement & drainage
  • Urinary tract comfort
  • Seasonal sinus & throat wellness
  • Healthy fluid balance
  • Gentle daily detoxification

Goldenrod is energetically bright, uplifting, and moving — a perfect herb for transitional seasons or times of stagnation.

🧡 How to Use

Take ½–1 teaspoon, 1–3 times daily, either:
