Our Dandelion Infused Tallow Lotion Bars are handcrafted right here on our Missouri farm using our own rendered grass-fed beef tallow and seasonal dandelions we forage from the land.

 

These solid lotion bars are a simple, nourishing way to moisturize the skin using whole ingredients that have been trusted for generations. When warmed by the heat of your hands, the bar melts slightly and glides onto the skin, delivering deep moisture without synthetic fillers or preservatives.

 

Because these are lotion bars (rather than a jarred balm), we add a slightly higher amount of beeswax so the bars hold their shape even during warmer months. The result is a convenient, low-waste moisturizer you can keep by the sink, bedside, or in your travel bag.

 

 

Why Dandelion?

Here on the farm, we work with the plants that are growing in each season. Spring brings an abundance of dandelion — one of the most overlooked yet powerful herbs for skin health.

 

 

Traditionally used in herbal skincare, dandelion is valued for its:

 

• antibacterial and cleansing properties

• ability to help clarify pores

• support for acne-prone skin

• gentle detoxifying effects for the skin

 

It’s a beautiful match for tallow, which closely resembles the natural oils our skin produces and helps deliver nutrients deeply into the skin without clogging pores.

 

Together, they create a deeply nourishing, non-comedogenic moisturizer suitable for many different skin types.

 

 

Crafted the Traditional Way

We render our grass-fed beef fat on the farm, sourcing quality leaf fat whenever possible for the cleanest, most luxurious tallow.

 

The dandelions are slowly infused into oil before being blended with the tallow and beeswax to create a rich herbal lotion bar that melts softly into the skin.

 

This process takes time, patience, and care — but we believe skincare should be as honest as the land it comes from.
