What it is

A handmade rustic torch crafted from homegrown mullein stalks and natural beeswax—an old-world tradition brought back to life right here on our farm. Each torch is made by hand, dipped multiple times in golden wax for a long-lasting, wind-resistant flame. These are real, functional heritage pieces: part light, part art, and entirely steeped in farmstead magic.

Their golden flame burns with a steady, enchanting glow that feels both ancient and alive.

Our torches are completely natural—no synthetic waxes, fragrances, or dyes unless you choose a special colored batch. They’re sturdy, striking, and made to be used and loved.

How to use it

Before lighting, trim about ½ inch of wax off the tip to expose the dried mullein core. Light it with a match, lighter, or small torch. Place or hold the torch at a safe distance from flammable materials—ideally in a fireproof holder or outdoor setting.

Each 6” small torch burns for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the thickness of wax.

Larger (9”-14”) dipped torches can burn longer. The more wax layers, the slower and more consistent the flame. Up to 3 hours.

Burn time

Average burn time ranges from 45–60 minutes per 6” torch, with thicker torches lasting longer. Ideal for evening gatherings or rituals of light during the autumn and winter seasons.

Expiration suggestions

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Properly stored, torches can last several years without issue—just keep moisture away from the stalks.

• Always burn outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• Keep away from children and pets when lit.
• Do not leave burning torches unattended.
• Use a secure holder, jar of sand, or fireproof base to stabilize.
• Mullein torches are not intended for indoor candleholders or enclosed lanterns.

These are made from mullein harvested and dried right here on our Missouri farm, then dipped by hand in natural beeswax. Each one is unique—no two are alike—and every torch carries the fingerprint of the season it came from.
